Harvest Rinse may be used at the time of harvesting and by produce distributors to reduce bacteria and fungi and will prevent your produce from going bad prematurely. Must be diluted using a 1:20 ratio with water. Let produce that has been cleansed with Harvest Rinse air dry before storing.
- Wash produce with clear water to remove debris and soil. Temperature must be maintained at 4°C or less.
- Following the clear water wash apply diluted Harvest Rinse with a mechanical sprayer to ensure cleanliness of produce. Contact time should not exceed 5 minutes.
- After treatment, excess solution must be removed from the produce. Rinse produce with potable water and air dry or if appropriate utilize a centrifugal drier. Prepare a fresh solution daily.
Always Store in a cool dry area away from direct sunlight and heat. Use within 24 hours after mixing with water. To dispose of the solution, dilute in water before disposing. This Harvest Rinse Concentrate freezes at 0˚ C or 32˚ F. Freezing does not alter the effectiveness.
